Abstract/Summary
Long-standing tenets of good planning, such as public health, accessibility and sustainability, are moving into the crosshairs of the culture wars as the values underpinning planning and development choices are being increasingly contested using populist tropes. The paper discusses the implications for the practice and implementation of planning.
