Abstract/Summary
PurpleSTARS developed a Pop Up event with Raw Material in response to the Roots, Rhythms and Records Exhibition at Hackney Museum. With music studio Raw Material purpleSTARS created spoken word rap poetry which they performed at the two Pride of Place events. An easy to use wiki web page researching the exhibition and a set of sensory objects in a suitcase was also created related to with their personal responses to the Roots, Rhythms and Records exhibition. The Suitcase with sensory materials will be used for Schools workshops co- facilitated by the purpleSTARS.
