Abstract/Summary

This is a psycho-geographical 'state of the nation' fiction based in Reading and celebrating the tercentenary of the publication of Robinson Crusoe in which the narrator sets out on a series of 'constitutional' walks with the aim of getting his own and his country's health back. He is obliged, then, to come to terms with the limited extent to which his project can be realised.
