Abstract/Summary

Workshop to highlight our research into the impact of light pollution that addresses both conservation strategies and the protection of nocturnal ecologies that are altering moths nocturnal habitats. The workshop was a case study for a format later used in work (distribution of images via social media) to inform wider public about 'Anthropogenic Noise' - as a form of pollution (spectrum of light beyond the visible) that is imperceptible to humans, but causing destruction to the environments we co-inhabit with other species. Amstelpark was the first field site for our research into this area.
