Abstract/Summary
The article considers the impacts of time, its organisation and its control within the English planning system, arguing that control of time spent in planning, in order to prioritise speed and efficiency goals for the sake of ‘growth’, can undermine the time needed to plan well in the service of inclusion, public interest and sustainable development goals.
