Report. HM Government

Abstract/Summary

The Systems Research Programme has been applying systems methods across Defra to support complex decision making. The programme has shown the many benefits of applying a systems approach. This includes improving policy and decision making by helping join up policy areas and mitigating negative unintended consequences of policy decisions. This document is inspired by the findings and insight acquired by the Systems Research Programme.
