Webb, M., Brown, S. and Day, M., (2017) Collaborating for category management success. Report. Future Purchasing, Guildford. pp82.

Abstract/Summary

This report is unique in tracking the status of category management implementation globally. It uses results from what is the largest and most global cross-industry survey of procurement leaders and practitioners and we would like to thank the 323 individuals who took part. Our research objectives are to identify the priority practices that make the biggest difference to category management success, the extent to which they are used and the additional value secured through their use. We also make practical recommendations to help organisations execute each of the top practices and transform their category management capability.
