This is the fourth of a projected five volume publication of the excavation of Silchester Insula IX between 1997 and 2014. (Silchester Roman Town: The Insula IX Town Life Project: Vol. 4). It covers the period between c. A.D. 44 and c. A.D. 85. The description of the excavation is accompanied by reports on the finds by 25 contributors.
