Abstract/Summary

The remainder of the chapter is organised as follows. The next section presents previous literature and theoretical perspectives. The third section illustrates the specific structure of the model used in the study. The fourth section shows the empirical findings regarding female representation on Swedish corporations. In the following sections, the results are interpreted in the light of the current debate about female representatives on corporate boards and thus constitute a contribution to the ongoing debate on corporate reporting practices. This chapter concludes with a summary of the study’ findings and suggestions for further research.
