Abstract/Summary

This paper reports on a longitudinal study, funded by the Open University Research into Teaching and Learning Fund, which aimed to explore the perceptions and experiences of part-time doctoral students using an online supplementary resource, the Researching Professional Development Framework (RPDF), in order to evaluate its effectiveness in supporting their development as researching professionals as they progressed through the first year of their EdD programme.
