Abstract/Summary

The cow contains interactive technology that allows participants to record their own cow sounds. The cow has its own network which allows the workshop leader to add and delete sound easily. It has magnet tactile patches of leather and suede and materials related to farming and products from the cow. The cow also has a smell machine with a fan that can pump out a smell. The Cow is being developed with students from Reading College Learners with learning difficulties and disabilities department. The cow is the focus for workshops in the newly refurbished studio and will be be part of the opening of MERL on October 18th 2016.
